Police have appealed for information following the death of a motorcyclist in Aberdeenshire.
The 59-year-old man died in the crash at Cairnton of Balbegno, on the B966 Fettercairn to Edzell road, at 6.10pm on Saturday.
The next of kin of the motorcyclist have been made aware.
He was riding a blue and white Suzuki GSXR 750 motorcycle at the time.
Sergeant Dave Cooper said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the man who died and an investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
“We would also like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen what happened or have dashcam footage that could help.”
Anyone with information has been asked to call 101, quoting incident number 3053 of Saturday.
