Woman in court charged with murder over death of man in Glasgow

A woman has appeared in court charged with murder following the death of a 40-year-old man in Glasgow.

Johnson Ewere was found dead by officers at a property on Charles Street, Royston, at about 10.25pm on Sunday.

On Thursday, Amanda Forbes appeared in private at Glasgow Sheriff Court in connection with his death.

No plea was entered to a single charge of murder.

The case was committed for further examination and the 35-year-old, from East Dunbartonshire, was remanded in custody.

The next court appearance is due to take place within eight days.
