Police have made a second arrest in connection with a “firearm discharge” in Edinburgh that left a man injured.

The incident on the capital’s Hailesland Gardens happened at about 3.40pm on July 24.

Officers confirmed on Tuesday that following an investigation they have now arrested a 25-year-old man in relation to the incident.

This comes after the arrest of 36-year-old man last week.
