A 64-year-old woman has died in hospital after being hit by a bus in Glasgow.
She had been on foot on Barrhead Road when the incident occurred at about 3.50pm on Monday.
She was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital but she was pronounced dead.
Police said there were no reports of any other injuries.
Sergeant Adnan Alam said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the woman who has died at this difficult time.
“Inquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash to contact us.
“We also ask anyone with dashcam footage of the area at the time to come forward.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 2380 of Monday August 18.
