Crews remain at the scene of a fire that broke out almost 24 hours ago at a recycling centre in Dundee.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said it was contacted at 5.44pm on Thursday to reports of the fire on Wright Avenue.
As of around 4pm on Friday, crews remained at the scene.
Locals have been asked to keep their windows closed due to the smoke levels, and nobody has been injured.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 5.44pm on Thursday September 4 to reports of a fire within a recycling centre on Wright Avenue, Dundee.
“Operations Control mobilised three appliances to the scene.
“Due to high levels of smoke in the area, residents in Dundee, Newport and Tayport are advised to keep windows and doors closed at this time.
“Crews remain in attendance, and there are no reported casualties.”
