A man has been charged in connection with the alleged attempted murder of a 21-year-old in Inverness.
Police said the incident happened on Madras Street in the city at around 11.20pm on Sunday September 14.
The man was found seriously injured on Telford Street a short while later and was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness where he remains in a stable condition.
Police said a 53-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
He will appear in court in due course.
