Residents have been asked to keep their windows shut while firefighters tackle a blaze at a building in a Fife town.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said it was called to the fire on Bank Street, Lochgelly, just after 1pm on Friday.
Police Scotland said it was alerted at 1.25pm, shortly after SFRS received the call.
The force has closed the street off to the public and has asked locals to avoid the area and keep their windows closed.
An SFRS spokesperson said: “We received a call at 1.11pm to reports of a building on fire on Bank Street, Lochgelly.
“We have four appliances and one height appliance in attendance.”
