Three men charged over £400,000 drug recovery

Three men have been charged after drugs estimated to be worth in excess of £400,000 were recovered in Aberdeen.

On Sunday, officers attended an address in the city’s Roslin Street and recovered a large quantity of cannabis and cocaine.

The estimated street value of the drugs recovered was £403,000.

Three men aged 39, 35 and 23 have been arrested and charged in connection with this recovery and they are due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court later on Monday.

Detective Constable Nick Bowyer said: “This significant recovery highlights our ongoing commitment to tackling dangerous and illegal drugs in our communities.

“We are determined to protect the public from this harmful criminality by disrupting the drugs trade and preventing it being circulated on the streets of Scotland.

“This seizure underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.”
