Police have appealed for information after a woman was subjected to a “serious sexual assault” in a village car park on the shores of Loch Lomond.
The incident was reported to police at 1am on Saturday September 27 in Luss public car park.
Police say “extensive inquiries” are ongoing to find the man responsible for the attack on the woman, who was in her 30s.
The suspect is described as white, had blond hair and spoke with a Scottish accent.
Detective inspector Julie Clisby said: “Extensive inquiries are ongoing and we are doing everything we can to trace the man responsible.
“We are keen to talk to anyone who was in the Luss car park between 11.45pm on Friday September 26 2025 and 12.30am on Saturday September 27 2025.
“In particular, we would ask that a group of people who spoke to the victim after the incident contact officers as a matter of urgency, as they may have information that could prove vital.
“It may seem insignificant to you, but could be pivotal in our investigation.
“I am also keen to speak to anyone with dash cam or private CCTV footage from the area at the time.”
