Man, 53, arrested after remains of missing person found on shores of Loch Lomond

A 53-year-old man has been arrested amid the probe into the death of a man whose remains were found along the shores of Loch Lomond.

Graham Wright, 38, was reported missing on August 25 having been seen five days earlier in the Gorbals area of Glasgow.

On Saturday September 13 his remains were found at Rubha Dubh near Firkin Point.

Police Scotland have now arrested a 53-year-old man in connection with attempting to defeat the ends of justice.

Mr Wright’s death continues to be treated as unexplained and extensive inquiries are ongoing, the force said.
