Second arrest made after human remains found at Loch Lomond

Police have made another arrest over the death of a man whose remains were found in Loch Lomond.

The remains of Graham Wright, 38, were discovered at Rubha Dubh, near Firkin Point, on September 13.

He was previously reported missing and was last seen in the Gorbals in Glasgow on August 20.

On Friday, Police Scotland said a 50-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the death.

The force said Mr Wright’s family have been informed and they are being supported by specially trained officers.

It comes after a 53-year-old man appeared at a Glasgow court charged with attempting to defeat the ends of justice.

Mr Wright’s death continues to be treated as unexplained and extensive inquiries are ongoing, the force said.
