James Cochrane, 67, died after the motorbike he was riding was involved in a collision with a van on Bellsdyke Road in Larbert.
The crash took place on November 7 2024, around 11.50am.
Police Scotland have now said a 59-year-old man has now been arrested and charged in connection with the fatal crash.
He is due to appear in court at a later date.
