A car passenger who went missing after the vehicle was involved in a crash has been traced, police have said.
Iain MacDonald, 58, was reported missing from the Daliburgh area of South Uist at around 4.30pm on Sunday.
Police said on Monday afternoon that he has now been traced.
Officers had been keen to check that he was safe following the crash.
