A group of men stole thousands of pounds worth of jewellery and a large sum of cash in a house robbery in North Lanarkshire, assaulting a woman in the process, police said.
The raid took place in a house on Laundry Lane in Stepps on Sunday between 6.30pm and 7.30pm, according to officers.
The men threatened the occupants and stole gold jewellery worth between £12,000 and £15,000, along with a four-figure sum of cash and air pod earphones.
A 30-year-old woman was assaulted but not require hospital treatment.
The suspects have been described as being between 25 and 30, and wearing dark clothing. They left the area via Edward Place after the robbery, officers said.
Police Constable Ross Dalrymple said: “The occupants were left very frightened by what happened and our inquiries are ongoing to trace those responsible.
“We are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area before and after the incident to get in touch.
“Please also check any private CCTV or dash-cam footage to see if something has been captured that could help with our investigation.”
