A woman who died in a fire at a home in Dundee has been named by police who are investigating the suspected murder.
Natalie Egan, 37, died in the blaze on October 31, just before 7.30am, in a property in the city’s Byron Street.
Police were alerted to the blaze and emergency services attended.
The fire was extinguished but Ms Egan, who was in the property, was later pronounced dead.
Following a post-mortem examination, her death is being treated as murder, according to Police Scotland.
A 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Ms Egan, and is due to appear in Dundee Sheriff Court.
Ms Egan’s family is being supported by specially-trained officers.
