A man and a woman have been arrested and charged following the discovery of drugs in Dumfries valued at £13,000.
Police Scotland carried out a raid at a property in Criffel Drive in the town at around 10.45pm on Friday.
Cocaine, with an estimated street value of around £12,500, and cannabis worth around £450 were recovered, along with a four-figure sum of cash.
The 34-year-old man and 27-year-old woman have been released on an undertaking to appear at Dumfries Sheriff Court at a later date.
Detective inspector Graeme Robertson said: “This was a significant recovery and reinforces our commitment to targeting those involved in the supply of harmful substances within our communities.
“We continue to work in support of the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy, using every tool available to disrupt the activities of those who profit from the trade in illegal drugs.”
