Police are investigating after a person was raped in a city centre lane in the early hours of the morning.
Officers were called to Sauchiehall Lane in Glasgow just after 3am on Wednesday.
Both ends of the lane remained sealed off with police tape at lunchtime on Wednesday, with an officer on guard at each end.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.10am on Wednesday November 12, we received a report of a serious sexual assault in the Sauchiehall Lane area of Glasgow.
“Inquiries are ongoing.”
