A man has been arrested in connection with the serious sexual assault of a woman in Glasgow city centre, police have said.
It follows a reported rape in Sauchiehall Lane shortly after 3am on Wednesday.
Police sealed off the lane following the incident.
On Thursday, Police Scotland said an 18-year-old man had been arrested and he was later released pending further inquiries.
The force said: “Officers will be patrolling in the city centre and they can be approached if anyone has concerns or information.”
