A woman has been charged in connection with the attempted murder and robbery of a 33-year-old man.
At around 4.45am on Saturday, Police Scotland was alerted to a disturbance in the Marquis Road area of Aberdeen.
Emergency services attended and a 33-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
A 36-year-old woman was arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.
Detective Sergeant Niall Mullen said: “This was an isolated incident and there is no wider risk to the public.
“We ask anyone who may have been in the area at the time and hasn’t already spoken to police to contact us if you have any information.”
