The body of a man has been discovered at a beach in Aberdeenshire.
Police said while formal identification is yet to take place the family of 60-year-old Peter Wilson, last seen in the area on November 29, has been informed.
Officers were alerted to the body at around 10.05am on Saturday at a beach in Fraserburgh.
The death is being treated as unexplained but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
