The body of a man has been recovered from a river in Ayrshire.
Police Scotland said the body was discovered in the River Ayr near Failford, Mauchline, on Saturday.
The body has not yet been formally identified, but the family of Jason Anderson, 33, has been notified.
Mr Anderson was reported missing on Thursday December 18, having been last seen in the Catrine area on Friday December 12.
The death is being treated as unexplained, pending the outcome of a post-mortem.
Police said a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
