A man has been arrested following a two-vehicle crash which left a woman injured.
The collision happened on the A1 near Torness in East Lothian at around 8.50pm on Friday February 27.
The 38-year-old woman driving one of the vehicles, a Land Rover Discovery, was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
Police said the 39-year-old man driving the other vehicle, a black Peugeot 207, has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Officers said that investigations are continuing and urged anyone with information to contact them.
Constable Martin Wood, from Dalkeith road policing unit, said: “We are appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident, or saw either of the vehicles prior to the crash, to please come forward.
“Anyone with information which could assist our inquiries is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident 3482 of 27 February.”
