Man, 58, charged over firearm death of father in North Lanarkshire

A man who was arrested in connection with the death of a father who was shot in December has now been charged.

Jordan Gray, 26, was found dead at his home in Motherwell, North Lanarkshire on December 15.

He is believed to have suffered a firearms injury the previous night.

On Wednesday, Police Scotland said a 58-year-old man had been arrested in connection with Mr Gray’s death. He has now been charged in relation to it.

The man will appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Thursday.
