A motorcyclist has been killed in a three-vehicle crash.
Police Scotland are appealing for information following the incident, which took place at about 12.40pm on Saturday on the A72 road near Innerleithen in the Scottish Borders.
A black Yamaha YBR 125 motorbike, a grey Citroen C4 Picasso and a yellow Citroen DS3 were involved.
Police said the 53-year-old man who was riding the motorbike died at the scene.
There were no reports of any other injuries.
Sergeant Dave Waddell said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who has died.
“Inquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash to contact us.
“We would like to thank the members of the public who assisted at the scene of the crash.
“We’d ask anyone with dashcam footage which could assist our inquiries to come forward.”
