Office building in Glasgow has windows and doors smashed

A building in Glasgow city centre has been cordoned off after the glass front was damaged.

Sentinel House on Waterloo Street had its windows and doors damaged at around 2.35am on Thursday.

It is understood the word “genocide” was spray-painted on one window, but it has been removed.

The building is believed to house offices for Chubb Insurance.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.35am on Thursday April 16, officers received a report of damage to a building on Waterloo Street, Glasgow.

“Inquiries are ongoing.”
