Aldershot and Torquay played out a 1-1 draw in the National League after both goals came in the opening 10 minutes.
Shots captain Joe Partington put the hosts ahead at the EBB Stadium in the fifth minute, heading in from Olly Pendlebury’s corner.
But it took only four minutes for struggling Torquay to respond through Brett McGavin’s fine strike from the edge of the area.
Both sides pushed for a winner thereafter but they had to settle for a point apiece, ending runs of three straight defeats for the two sides.
