Idris Odutayo’s late effort preserved Bromley’s unbeaten start to the season as they drew 2-2 with Notts County.
Matthew Dennis’ brace, which took his tally this term to four, appeared to have propelled Martin Paterson’s side to victory.
But Odutayo salvaged a hard-fought point for the visitors during the closing stages after Ben Thompson had earlier levelled.
Dennis opened his account in the 11th minute when, having latched onto Kelle Roos’ clearance, he drifted infield unchallenged before drilling beyond Grant Smith.
But Bromley were level seven minutes later as more of the indecisive defending threatening to undermine County’s work saw Mitch Pinnock’s miscued cross reach Thompson, who rifled home.
Dennis pounced again just past the half-hour mark.
Jodi Jones won a free-kick near to the byline and, when Matt Palmer whipped it into the box, the former Carlisle marksman stole a march on Bromley’s rearguard and guided a header inside the far post.
That should have been the catalyst for County to go on and win the game. However, they were punished for failing to translate their superiority into a healthier lead when Odutayo beat Roos from range.
