Bromley and Chesterfield had to settle for a share of the spoils as both teams maintained their early season play-off charge with a 2-2 draw in League Two.
Michael Cheek gave Bromley an early lead before Armando Dobra and Liam Mandeville turned the game around.
Chey Dunkley’s own goal 10 minutes from time ensured Bromley took a point from the encounter in an evenly fought encounter.
The hosts took the lead in the 16th minute when striker Cheek reacted quickest to hook the ball over Chesterfield goalkeeper Zach Hemming.
Against the run of play Chesterfield equalised with their first shot on target, six minutes before the interval. Dobra collected Will Grigg’s cut back and the winger finished low across Grant Smith.
Cheek threatened again in the second half, his low volley from Mitch Pinnock’s cross well saved by Hemming.
However, it was the Spireites who took the lead with their second shot on target in the match, Mandeville profiting from slack defensive play to side-foot past Smith.
But Bromley were not to be denied as Dunkley bundled the ball into his own net from Pinnock’s corner to ensure honours ended even.
