First-half goals from Josh Gordon and Isaac Fletcher gave Barrow back-to-back wins for the first time this season with a 2-1 victory at Crawley in League Two.
Geraldo Bajrami gave the Red Devils hope with his first goal for the club midway through the second half, but it ended in a sixth defeat in 10 league games for Scott Lindsey’s side.
Crawley goalkeeper Harvey Davies tipped a header by Charlie Raglan over in a fast Barrow start, and Davies later turned a goal-bound shot from Jack Earing around the post.
Forward Gordon put the Bluebirds deservedly ahead from close range after 36 minutes and midfielder Fletcher stroked home the second deep in first-half stoppage time from Earing’s assist.
Crawley Striker Ryan Loft had a shot cleared off the line before the Red Devils reduced the deficit when Bajrami headed in a corner from Dion Pereira in the 65th minute.
Substitute Harry Forster had a chance to level late on but shot wide from Pereira’s cross, and Loft was off target right at the death after Josh Flint fired against a post.
