Hartlepool and Tamworth shared the spoils with a 1-1 draw in the National League.
Oliver Lynch gave the visitors the lead shortly after half-time but Vadaine Oliver levelled to keep Pools ahead of their opponents on goal difference.
Hartlepool started strong but could not find the back of the net as chances from Danny Johnson and Jermaine Francis were saved.
Tamworth went ahead in the 50th minute minute through a close-range header from Lynch at the back post.
But Pools struck back in the 71st minute as a low cross was poked home by Oliver for his first goal for the club.
