Harvey Saunders rescued a point for Eastleigh as they drew 1-1 with Solihull in the National League.
Aaron Blair forced an early save from Laurie Walker and the goalkeeper made another good stop to deny Ciaran McGuckin.
Blair had two chances in quick succession as Eastleigh pushed for an opener, but Solihull found the breakthrough two minutes after half-time through Jacob Wakeling’s effort.
However, the Spitfires levelled in the 69th minute when Saunders nodded home from Archie Harris’ delivery and they came close to a winner when Kieron Evans fired just wide.
