Beck-Ray Enoru netted a stoppage-time winner for Tamworth as Aldershot ended a turbulent week with a dramatic 2-1 home defeat in the National League.
Manager Tommy Widdrington resigned on Tuesday to return to Eastbourne Borough, five months after guiding the club to FA Trophy glory at Wembley.
Aldershot, now with no win in five games and only one victory in 10 in the division, took the lead 10 minutes before half-time when Kwame Thomas converted Josh Barrett cross.
But the visitors levelled four minutes into first-half added time from a Haydn Hollis free-kick after goalkeeper Marcus Dewhurst was penalised for picking up a back pass.
Joint caretaker manager Alan Dowson was shown a red card following the goal and his mood would not have been helped by Enoru’s winner seven minutes into added time as Tamworth extended their unbeaten league run to seven.
