Burton extended their unbeaten run in League One to three games with a 2-1 victory over Bradford.
First-half goals from Jake Beesley and Charlie Webster put the visitors in control before Bobby Pointon’s second-half penalty gave City hope late on.
Burton started brightly, with Kyran Lofthouse firing straight at Sam Walker from six yards inside the opening minute. At the other end, Josh Neufville was denied by Bradley Collins at his near post.
The breakthrough came five minutes before the interval when Beesley reacted quickest after a fine double save from Walker to head home from close range.
Albion doubled their lead in first-half stoppage time as Webster latched onto a Lofthouse cross to finish a swift counter-attack.
The Brewers pressed for a third after the break, with Webster firing over and Lofthouse heading narrowly wide.
City were handed a lifeline in the 76th minute when Alex Hartridge fouled Stephen Humphrys in the box and Pointon calmly converted from the spot.
Bradford pushed hard for an equaliser in the closing stages, but Albion held firm to claim all three points.
