MK Dons battled back from two goals down to earn a valuable point in a feisty 2-2 draw against Barnet at The Hive.
The hosts took the lead inside 13 minutes when Nnamdi Ofoborh’s short corner found Adam Senior, who headed past Dons goalkeeper Connal Trueman.
Barnet’s Ryan Glover was then brought down in the area by Jon Mellish in the 28th minute and Mark Shelton converted the resulting penalty, sending Trueman the wrong way.
The Dons pulled a goal back six minutes before half-time as Liam Kelly’s superb corner was flicked on by Rushian Hepburn-Murphy for Jack Sanders to tap home.
In the second half, Shelton’s low driven effort from an indirect free-kick found the net but was ruled out as it didn’t take a touch off a player.
Just past the hour, the Dons drew level when Nathaniel Mendez-Laing delivered a sublime ball to Aaron Nemane on the right, whose cross was cleared poorly, allowing Mendez-Laing to slot home.
Barnet thought they had found a stoppage-time winner but the goal was ruled out for offside.
