Nicke Kabamba scored an 88th-minute winner as Bromley overcame a dogged Barrow 2-1 to move up to fifth in League Two.
The game took a long time to break into life but when it did it was a fantastic strike from Marcus Ifill to break the deadlock on the half-hour. The full-back curling a low effort beyond Wyll Stanway from 20 yards out.
Barrow equalised with their first shot on target five minutes after the restart.
The hosts failed to clear their lines and Ben Whitfield drilled in the loose ball from just outside the penalty area.
With their tails up, Josh Gordon headed narrowly wide for the Bluebirds, while at the other end, Deji Elerewe headed Mitch Pinnock’s free-kick the wrong side of Stanway’s right-hand post.
Stanway then had to be at his best to deny both Will Hondermarck and Elerewe as the Ravens ramped up late pressure.
However Stanway could do nothing about Kabamba’s winner – two minutes from time – as Michael Cheek seized on a defensive mistake to set up Kabamba to slide home.
