Aaron Lewis scored a late winner to complete a magnificent comeback as Mansfield fought from two goals down to edge a 3-2 League One victory over Barnsley at Oakwell.
Reyes Cleary and former Stags midfielder Davis Keillor-Dunn made it 2-0 to the hosts in the opening 13 minutes before Louis Reed replied from the penalty spot to reduce the deficit for Mansfield.
The visitors levelled through Stephen McLaughlin – early in the second half – before Lewis won the game late on.
Cleary opened the scoring for Barnsley after just two minutes as he latched on to a Patrick Kelly through ball and finished well past Liam Roberts.
Keillor-Dunn put the Reds 2-0 up in the 13th minute as he scored against his former club but their two-goal lead was short lived as Reed converted from the spot midway through the first half, after Cleary was adjudged to have handled the ball inside the box.
McLaughlin bundled the ball home to equalise just before the hour mark after a scramble, before Lewis sent the away fans wild with an 83rd-minute to see his side move out of the relegation zone and up to 17 as a result.
