Finley Burns made a brilliant block to keep Posh out during a goal-mouth scramble in stoppage-time.
Joel Pereria made a good save to tip away a Leonard header, before Jack Marriott forced a simple save from Bass.
Lindgren equalised after tapping home Peter Kioso’s perfect cross after 78 minutes.
Garbett was inches away from a dramatic winner, before Pereria made a fine save to deny Lindgren in stoppage-time.
