Burton reached the FA Cup fourth round with a 5-0 win away at Boreham Wood.
Kyran Lofthouse put the Sky Bet League One side ahead before a Charlie O’Connell own goal doubled their lead.
Fabio Tavares, Dylan Williams and JJ McKiernan added further goals as Gary Bowyer’s outfit reached the fourth round for the first time since the 2010-11 season.
Enterprise National League promotion contenders Boreham Wood had early chances as Regan Booty saw two efforts kept out by Kamil Dudek.
Burton took the lead in the 35th minute. Debutant Kain Adom set up Lofthouse and the wing-back drilled a strike into the bottom corner.
The Brewers made it 2-0 in the 41st minute. Adom’s header was blocked on the line, but the ball struck O’Connell and bounced in for an own goal.
Chris Bush headed over with Boreham Wood’s best chance to pull a goal back, but then fell 3-0 behind in the 67th minute. Substitute Tavares poked home after Ted Curd could not hold Williams’ free-kick.
Williams added a fourth in the 83rd minute as he received Terence Vancooten’s long pass and charged forward to score.
McKiernan grabbed Burton’s fifth in stoppage time as he beat Curd to complete the rout.
