Oldham secured back-to-back Sky Bet League Two wins for the first time since September with an impressive 3-0 victory over Gillingham at Priestfield.
Calum Kavanagh had the first chance of the game in the 10th minute when he sprinted through on goal following a defensive slip from Travis Akomeah.
The forward had just Glenn Morris to beat, but the veteran goalkeeper made a fine stop.
However, Kavanagh made no mistake with his second effort from the resulting corner. The ball was kept alive and play was spread to the right side where Jake Caprice’s low cross was converted from close range.
A second soon followed when another corner fell to Jack Stevens and his low drive inside the box was touched home by Emmanuel Monthe.
Armani Little, Bradley Dack and Seb Palmer-Houlden all went close for the hosts, with Ronan Hale brilliantly denied by Matt Hudson.
The points were rubber-stamped when Mike Fondop skipped through the home defence and chipped the oncoming Morris.
