Boston’s four-match winning run in the Enterprise National League came to an end after they were held to a goalless draw at home to Tamworth.
The closest either side came to making the breakthrough came midway through the first half when visiting goalkeeper Jasbir Singh saved to prevent team-mate Kennedy Digie’s header going past him.
Tamworth’s Oliver Lynch had earlier fired into the side-netting, while for the hosts, Matty Carlson saw his rebounded effort deflected wide and Frankie Maguire’s 25-yard free-kick was just off target.
After the break, Tamworth, now winless in six league matches, saw Ronan Maher shoot straight at goalkeeper Andrew Wogan following a counter-attack, while Maguire’s curling effort flicked the top of Singh’s net.
