Wealdstone edge past 10-man Brackley to end losing run

Wealdstone fended off 10-man Brackley to claim a 2-1 National League win at Grosvenor Vale.

Danny Newton was sent off for Brackley midway through the first half before Sean Adarkwa crashed home the opener only eight minutes later.

Nathan Tshikuna doubled Wealdstone’s advantage shortly after the hour mark although Morgan Roberts pulled one back for Brackley with 12 minutes to go.

But Wealdstone saw out the victory to end a three-match losing streak and move up to 14th in the table, three places clear of Brackley.
