Boston maintain strong recent run with victory at Forest Green

Boston stunned Forest Green with three first-half goals to extend their unbeaten run in the Enterprise National League to seven games.

Frankie Maguire gave Boston a 12th-minute lead from the penalty spot after the recalled Greg Sloggett was caught by a high boot.

Sloggett was denied by goalkeeper Harry Isted from long range but Jamie Grimes headed the second and Tom Cursons made it three before the break.

First-half substitute Harvey Bunker pulled one back in the 71st minute for Robbie Savage’s side and Tom Knowles’ stoppage-time drive set up a tense finish
