Jake Cooper and Declan Howe scored as Altrincham beat Brackley 2-0 victory at St James Park.
The visitors took the lead just before half-time when Cooper found the back of the net with a close-range finish from a corner.
The Robins had a chance to cushion their lead when they won a penalty with seven minutes remaining in the second half, but Jonny Maxted guessed correctly and saved Howe’s spot-kick.
Howe would not be denied again, and scored in second-half stoppage time after a Brackley defender slipped.
