Yeovil beat Tamworth to secure back-to-back wins

Yeovil earned back-to-back National League wins by beating Tamworth 2-0.

Troy Perrett saw a header fly wide of a post and he came close again in the 35th minute, sending an effort narrowly wide of the upright.

Ryan Jones then broke the deadlock in the 40th minute with a finish from a tight angle to put Yeovil in front and they almost struck again after the break when James Daly’s effort was cleared.

The Glovers extended their advantage in the 55th minute when Brett McGavin’s free-kick bounced off the goal frame and Declan Skura stabbed home the rebound to wrap up three points.
