Bolton completed an astonishing last-gasp 3-2 comeback win over League One play-off rivals Wycombe thanks to Ruben Rodrigues, Mason Burstow and Corey Blackett-Taylor.
Steven Schumacher’s side trailed to first-half goals from Cauley Woodrow and Luke Harris with only three minutes left.
Rodrigues netted his first goal for the club to give Bolton hope, and it was to get much better for the hosts, who stay third despite an epic victory.
Burstow’s 11th goal of the campaign made it 2-2 in the second minute of added time before Blackett-Taylor cut in from the left and curled in a stunning right-footed finish moments later.
Bolton, now unbeaten in 11 games, will believe justice was served.
Woodrow put Wycombe in front after 27 minutes and Harris doubled the advantage after 40 minutes, but Bolton were incensed when captain Eoin Toal’s 55th-minute shot was adjudged not to have crossed the line.
Eventually, though, they got their rewards to move within eight points of second-placed Cardiff.
