Will Harris scores again as Halifax ease past Solihull to boost play-off push

Two first-half goals helped Halifax maintain their National League play-off push as they won 3-0 at Solihull Moors.

Will Harris’ 20th league goal of the season got them up and running 12 minutes in, the striker turning in after Will Hugill’s run-and-shot was blocked.

The second came in time added on at the end of the half. Jay Turner-Cooke and Harris both saw efforts blocked but Josh Hmami made the most of his opportunity and fired in.

Hmami had a goal ruled out in the second half and when Scott High was sent off for the home side with 14 left following a foul on Turner-Cooke the home side’s race was run.

That was underlined further in time added on as David Kawa added a third for the visitors.
