Late Dion Charles goal gives Huddersfield a comeback win at Leyton Orient

Dion Charles goal in the 15th minute of added time gave Huddersfield a 2-1 win at Leyton Orient in Sky Bet League One.

Charles’ late effort for the West Yorkshire side ended the hosts’ six-match unbeaten run and gave the visitors a come-from-behind victory, with Radinio Balker’s own goal cancelled out by a Bojan Radulovic equaliser.

The visitors went behind in the 20th minute, with a deep cross from Theo Archibald finding visiting defender Balker, who headed his clearance past his own goalkeeper Lee Nichols.

However,  Huddersfield equalised right on the stroke of half-time, when Radulovic turned in a Sean Roughan cross from close range, leaving the home defence flat footed.

There was a moment of concern in the 65th minute when Huddersfield substitute George Sabine had to go off the field after a head collision with team-mate Marcus Harness.

With fourteen minutes of stoppage time added, the visitors’ Murray Wallace almost won the game with his effort hitting the bar – before Charles struck, to the delight of the visitors.
