A learner driver who was discovered with three unrestrained young children when stopped driving a car by a garda outside Nenagh had fines imposed by Judge Elizabeth MacGrath at Nenagh District Court.
Julieanne Pratt, 28, of 3 Ballyvillane, Borrisokane Road, Nenagh, also had three bald tyres on her vehicle and no L plates displayed when stopped at Tullaheady and was not accompanied by a qualified driver.
The court was told that a fixed penalty notice had been issued in relation to the offences, but it remained unpaid.
Judge MacGrath fined Ms Pratt €160 for tyres; €160 for driving unaccompanied by a qualified driver, and €120 for not having a child restrained in the vehicle.
