Stakelum had a lot to prove to management after not starting the Clare game after a dip in form, and the Thurles man really put in a physical and tireless effort all game. He does all the simple things well on the ball, but his efforts out of possession in tackling and covering space is unreal. He is a dog for a man of his stature and it was good to see him back to the form he showed in the early parts of the year.
