In an extraordinary achievement, Megan Armitage from Shinrone on the Tipperary/Offaly border will become the first Irish female cyclist to participate in the renowned Tour de France Femmes.

Megan also became the first ever Irish woman to win a UCI-ranked stage race at the Vuelta Extremadura Féminas in March 2023.
